MOTION CONTROLLED ZONE INTERFACE
ALPHA MZ-1
The wait is finally over. We’re extremely proud to announce the introduction of an industry first, the Alpha MZ-1. The first and only motion controlled interface that wires in directly to your existing irrigation system. The new MZ-1 system is a stand alone product that wires in to most RainBird, Hunter, Irritrol and many others that run on 24v AC. The MZ-1 utilizes an infrared sensor that monitors an area of roughly 50 feet in length with a target zone of 12 inches squared at 25 feet and 24 inches squared at 50 feet. The MZ-1 is able to trigger a selected zone to turn on for 5 or 20 seconds once an alert is signalled. The MZ-1 sensor is wireless and can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the receiver*. There is an on/off button located on the MZ-1 sensor which allows the user to select when the sensor is active. The MZ-1 has a range of uses ranging from humane pest control to general deterrent of unwelcome guests. The Alpha MZ-1 product has been in the design process for a number of years. It was designed from the input of our customers who wanted a solution for deterring pests from destroying their landscape. Many properties we service have extensive gardens and trees planted and have had them eaten and destroyed by deer and other unwanted guests. Our solution was simple, to create an interface system that could engage an irrigation zone to humanely deter pests. Once word spread of our project other customers became interested in the product for applications to deter dogs from entering their property and simply to keeping unwanted persons from walking across their property.
